Buddyapos;s lab work came back. Heapos;s spilling protein and his thyroid tests were abnormal. So next Thursday, I have to catch his urine in a sterile container (that should be worthy of a few minutes on Americaapos;s Funniest Home Videos) and take that and him in for more blood work. The vet said the numbers arenapos;t off by great amounts, just by enough to catch his eye when comparing them to Buddyapos;s previous numbers (which I got complete copies of from his old vet). Sigh... I hope Buddyapos;s thyroid is easier to sort out than mine Vet says Buddyapos;s numbers are consistent: under-active thyroid. Mine are all over the place but the pattern thatapos;s slowly emerging is I also have an under-active thyroid. Wouldnapos;t it be a laugh if Buddy and I ended up taking the same thyroid medication(s)? :D (Gotta laugh... Iapos;m too close to crying...)
