Is anybody else infuriated by the treatment "Joe the Plumber" is receiving by the mainstream media?

On NPR's "Morning Edition" today the Obama strategy regarding Joe became clear: Destroy, Attack and Malign.

Why?

Because Joe represents what is good about America. Namely, the hope/desire/passion/dream to get ahead without government inhibition.

If Joe's question had been "What will the government do to help me succeed" instead of "Why is the government a barrier to my success" he would have ben an overnight liberal darling.

Instead NPR choose to expose his credit report, work history and other irrelevant facts in an overt attempt at discrediting him.

I'm sure Joe feels like a protagonist in a Kafka novel about now.
